Beijing, December 29 (Xinhua) -- The State Administration for Market Regulation, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Commerce, the National Data Administration, and the State Post Bureau recently jointly issued the "Key Work Plan for Modern Logistics Standardization (2025-2027)", which focuses on deploying 5 major sectors and 101 national standard development tasks to support the deepening of the construction of a unified national market.
To better leverage the supporting role of logistics in enhancing the resilience and safety level of industrial and supply chains, the work plan is clear, with a focus on accelerating the development of standards related to logistics digitization and integration such as cold chain logistics, pharmaceutical logistics, and multimodal transport, as well as mandatory national standards related to logistics safety such as dangerous goods transportation.
To support the digital transformation and intelligent transformation of logistics, the work plan proposes to focus on developing logistics data infrastructure, logistics data exchange and sharing, logistics enterprise data management standards, and further improve the application of information collection technology standards such as product barcodes and product QR codes in the logistics field.
To enhance the functionality of logistics infrastructure, the work plan requires focusing on important logistics infrastructure such as national logistics hubs, logistics parks, and warehousing and distribution centers, accelerating the development of standards for infrastructure function design, service capabilities, digital evaluation, etc., improving the connectivity level of logistics infrastructure, and improving the modern logistics operation system of "channel+hub+network".
It is reported that since the 14th Five Year Plan, the State Administration for Market Regulation has continued to strengthen logistics standardization work, and has newly released 207 national standards in the logistics field, covering key areas such as logistics parks, multimodal transport, green packaging for express delivery, traceability of imported cold chain food, electronic data exchange of containers, and unmanned aerial vehicles for freight transportation. Next, the State Administration for Market Regulation will work with relevant departments to continuously upgrade the logistics standard system and promote the effective implementation of standards.
